These people from Zheleznodorozhnyy, Russia get one meal a day from a soup kitchen. Many of them once had a job and a pension, but due to inflation and rising prices their savings have disappeared and they can no longer provide for themselves.

Ruben went to the soup kitchen to photograph the workers and visitors there. He shows them, standing in front of a white cloth, just as he encountered them.
